We've struggled with our health at different points and discovered firsthand how transformative the right food can be. Eating meals rich in protein, fibre, plant diversity, healthy fats, and nutrient-dense ingredients made a huge difference in how we felt—more energy, better focus, improved wellbeing.

But there was a catch: it meant cooking everything ourselves, every single day. It was time-consuming and hard to sustain.

That's why we started Viva—to help you reclaim precious time without compromising on your health. Our ready-to-eat meals are designed to give you all the benefits of whole food nutrition, with none of the hassle.

With a career spanning Michelin-starred kitchens and award-winning restaurants, my passion has always been rooted in gastronomy, nutrition, and culinary excellence. I've had the privilege of working in some of the most demanding fine dining environments, where I honed my craft, leadership, and creative expression.

Viva gives me the opportunity to bring that same standard of quality to everyday nutrition. I believe that healthy food should never be boring—it should be balanced, beautiful, and bursting with flavour. At Viva, I channel my experience into creating meals that are both nutritionally optimised and a joy to eat.

I'm especially drawn to the challenge of combining performance-focused nutrition with culinary artistry — every dish we serve should nourish the body and satisfy the senses.

For over a decade, I've been helping local businesses connect with customers in more meaningful ways, whether through brand, content or community. I founded Wedigital to support that mission, and later created ROC, the Jersey app, to help islanders discover what's on, support local makers, and feel more connected to the place they live.

Viva is a natural next step, focused on helping people live better by making healthy food simple, accessible, and part of everyday life.

As a dad, I've come to take both my mental and physical health seriously. Since starting Viva, I've been on a transformative journey – eating better, moving more, and finding more energy and happiness than ever before. I want others to feel the same: well-fuelled, well-supported, and well.

After 12 years of building an international e-commerce business, I decided to focus on what matters most: health and longevity. While I had sleep and exercise dialed in, nutrition remained a challenge—especially during busy days. I started Viva to change that.

In my previous venture, I developed health supplements, built international supply chains, and oversaw warehouse logistics. With Viva, I'm able to apply those same skills to something even more meaningful: delivering nutritious, high-quality meals using the best ingredients at an affordable price — through smart sourcing, production, and logistics.

Being gluten intolerant since childhood, it was important to me that all Viva meals are 100% gluten-free.

After being diagnosed with Crohn's over 12 years ago, I went through a rollercoaster of health challenges and hospital stays. During this time, Chris and I began exploring the connection between the immune system and gut health more deeply.

Through lived experience, I've learned just how powerful a clean, balanced lifestyle can be – and how much of a difference the right nutrition makes to overall wellbeing. Since making long-term changes, I've been in full remission from Crohn's.

The meals we created for Viva are inspired by our favourite ingredients and go-to dishes, shaped by years of research and personal discovery. Our hope is to support others on the island in finding their own path to a healthier, more vibrant life.
