Do I need to heat the meals before eating?

· By Colm Farrington
The short answer

Most meals are designed to be heated - typically 2-4 minutes in a microwave, or 10-15 minutes in an oven. Some bowls and cold dishes (breakfast puddings) are best straight from the fridge. Each meal has clear heating instructions on the label. The meals arrive chilled (not frozen), ready to heat and eat as they are.

Heating instructions are printed on every meal label and shown in your account. We don’t expect you to guess — pop it in the microwave or oven for the printed time and it’s ready.
